Hop to Earth animation
A small, curious rabbit-like traveler from Planet Miro pays Earth its first visit in this hand-drawn animation, running just over a minute with no dialogue or narration — just movement and timing carrying the whole story. The visitor moves through a series of Earth environments across a single day, each one a small beat of wide-eyed discovery, before returning home to Miro by the end. The piece was animated frame by frame at 12fps, with every pose and in-between drawn individually rather than relying on tweening or rigs — a deliberate choice to keep the movement expressive and a little imperfect, the way traditional animation reads warmer than digital puppeting. With no dialogue to lean on, the entire emotional arc had to come from posing, timing, and pacing alone — slowing down for wonder, speeding up for comedic beats, holding stillness where it mattered. The result is a short, character-driven piece built entirely on classical animation fundamentals.
